How personal changes shape reality

The author Fari Khabirpour, a well-known Luxembourg psychologist and psychotherapist, describes in short, concise language what an education for peace could look like and what conditions should be created in order to live in a more peaceful world in the future. How do we educate our children for peace and what can we do ourselves to get along better with one another and resolve conflicts positively and amicably, as individuals, as groups or as states.

Khabirpour reflects on spiritual values such as justice, brotherhood, service, sincerity and trust. Empathic listening can be practiced and learned, just as it is possible to renounce violence. For the author, unconditional love is the decisive, transformative force for recognizing our true existence and the meaning of our existence. Isn't it our task to perfect ourselves and help to keep the future worth living for us and our descendants?

The author encourages the reader to recognize and overcome deep-rooted conflicts within themselves. Many individual problems are caused by subjective and emotionally charged perceptions of reality in early childhood. If you understand how you are entangled in such ego traps, you can also free yourself from them. Adults can think and act rationally, consciously and intelligently. You can say goodbye to negative self-judgment and self-abasement and establish a positive and authentic connection with yourself and others. Inner peace will bring about external change.

Texts and quotes from Nietzsche, Tagore, Khalil Gibran and Alfred Adler complement and explain Khabirpour's statements, and numerous poetic images by Luxembourg art photographer Gery Oth accompany the text. The abstract pinhole photographs allow the reader to interpret the images personally.

The book Fari Khabirpour is published in high-quality design in three languages, German, French and English. Ikarus Verlag Fulda, ISBN 978-3-9825948-0-4, 19.00 euros.
